Ruth Bader Ginsburg – We’ve always found this to be one of Kate McKinnon’s weaker “SNL” characters, mostly because we know so little about the Supreme Court Justice, other than her recent comments against Donald Trump, that it’s hard to know what we’re making fun of.

In a skit filmed earlier in the day, Che spoofed the ubiquitous game Pokémon Go with Trumpemon Go. Jost and Che powered through their live broadcast despite just a few people sticking around in the convention arena to laugh and enjoy watching a live Weekend Update. They asked attendees to identify Republican vice-presidential pick Mike Pence from photos of other white-haired, white men.

Although Matthews behaved rather oddly throughout the interview, things got really uncomfortable when the host told Che, “I have a theory about being African-American”.

“I’m gonna say Cosby so nobody gets mad at you”, Che shot back at him. Colin Jost and Michael Che will work as press during the day for Today on NBC.
