Live Update: Indrani’s Ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna Confesses to Role in Sheena

Indrani left them with her parents U K Bora and Durga Rani Bora at their residence before leaving for Kolkata where she married Khanna. But officers said the big breakthrough came when her former driver was questioned about an unrelated gun offense and allegedly revealed the details of the murder.

On Tuesday, Mumbai Police blew the lid off the case by arresting Indrani and her driver Rai on charges of killing Sheena in 2012 and disposing off her body in Raigad.

The Indrani’s driver, who was picked by the police in connection with the said murder case and was arrested on August 25, was also questioned today.

“Upen was not her biological father”. Sheena had faced her mother’s wrath in the past because of this closeness. Indrani and Peter had reportedly opposed the affair. Mukerjea’s lawyer Gunjan Mangala had told the court that when the lawyers went to meet her, the police denied the permission repeatedly. They have said they might call me again.

Class X students are usually aged 16 but since schools had lost a year in Assam in the 1980s, most such students were 17 in 1982. “They are both in their 80s and suffer from dementia”, he said. The school is now known as the Sudarshan Public School.

Khanna, according to those who knew him, had a gift: The ability to get anything done.
