Liverpool boss issues request to capture huge Barcelona talent
Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen as they explore the idea of replacing Simon Mignolet with a more reliable stopper with potential world class credentials. That’s according to reports today.
Impressive in the Champions League as Barcelona claimed the Champions League, Ter Stegen didn’t play a single game in the league last season, but similar to his global team-mate Manuel Neuer is very comfortable with the ball at his feet and often the launchpad for attacking moves which would fit into Klopp’s renowned style of play.
In fact, the German has made just four league appearances since moving to the Catalan giants.
Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are excitedly discussing the latest transfer rumour concerning their club and manager Jurgen Klopp, who seems set for a few major signings in 2016.
He’d come out of his box and approached the touchline to rein in a long ball, but BATE striker Dmitri Mozolevski came charging up faster than expected to put pressure on Ter Stegen.
Sorry people, that man is Marco Reus.
The Barcelona keeper then pulled out a slick move to evade the opposing player and kick-start a counter-attack for his team.
