Liverpool have already played Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea already away from home this season, but sit only six points off the top four spots.
Liverpool have seen an improvement in results since Klopp took over.
Sagna did not offer excuses after a performance in which few City players emerged with any credit. “It was a fake night, a fake game”, added a bewildered Pellegrini.

“Every manager is different in terms of how they operate but he wants a reaction when we lose that ball and wants to get after it quickly”, said Liverpool’s stand-in captain.
Honest and outspoken Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reaffirmed his commitment in guiding the club from his its mediocre statues to an elite pedigree.
“Let’s take this momentum and confidence into the next game and it can only be better for the future”.
“One of the most important things in important games is to have a cold mind, not a cold heart but a cold mind”.
After taking part in only three matches this season, all under previous manager Brendan Rodgers, he hurt a knee in training and has not played since.
“We are not at the end by any means – it’s still a long way we have to go”, the former Borussia Dortmund boss explained.
Coutinho starred in the 4-1 demolition of Manchester City, scoring one goal and assisting another, before having to be substituted just after the hour mark with the injury.
