Lottery results: Mega Millions winning numbers are

The jackpot for this multi-state game starts at $15 million and grows until someone wins.

The winning ticket – which matched five white balls – was sold in Hudson County at New Bergen Bread & Butter, 529 Bergen Ave., Jersey City. The numbers for the Friday ., September 18 drawing were: 17, 34, 35, 51 and 65. The gold Mega Ball, which the Jersey City ticket didn’t have, was 7. Each Mega Millions play is only $1. Lottery officials say Linda Tuttle of Kentwood stepped forward Tuesday with a winning ticket from the May 26 Mega Millions drawing. Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot will be worth at least $235 million.
