Louis Rams Receiver Stedman Baily Shot Twice in the Head
Bailey was reportedly shot in the head twice and his relative Antwan Reeves was also injured in Miami on Tuesday evening, according to Rapoport.
Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey was shot Tuesday night, team officials confirmed.
Bailey is in critical condition, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to Michael Silver of NFL.com.
“We are gathering facts about the situation and will provide updates as we learn more“, the Rams said in their statement. Bailey suffered non-life threating injuries but will likely undergo additional surgery on Wednesday. Bailey, who is 25, was shot twice in the hip and head. Police said investigators are searching for a light-colored, four-door vehicle, possibly a Buick Regal.
Bailey and his cousin were able to drive themselves to a nearby hospital for help, authorities said. The three other passengers in the vehicle were uninjured, police said.
