The Cincinnati Bengals take on the St Louis Rams today in a game on the NFL football schedule which sees one team enjoying a winning 2015 season but stuck in a two game losing streak, and the other team stuck on a quarterback carousel amid a losing season it’ll now look to turn around.

This should be an intriguing match as the Rams are now trying to chase the leaders in their division, while the Bengals are trying to avoid another loss that could close the gap between them and their rivals.

Cincinnati were really impressive in their first six games before their bye week, and their rest period did not seem to slow them down as they defeated the Steelers and Cleveland Browns on their way back. Roughly half of the Bengals’ starting lineup is in the final year of contracts, so there’s no telling how many of them will be around for it. But some were excited about the possibility of finally making the trip. “In both games, we had chances to win and we didn’t make the play”.

“I’d like to say we’ve beaten ourselves because we’re not doing enough”, defensive end Carlos Dunlap said.

The St Louis Rams (4-6) are coming from a 16-13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Later, the Cowboys’ star quarterback injured the same left collarbone that had kept him out for seven games, and the latest loss leaves the Cowboys on 3-8 and all but out of the reckoning for the Playoff spots. Whether Keenum or Foles is under center, the Rams need to find a way to juice up a woeful passing attack that is last in the league with 173.9 yards per game. Will the Rams’ defense let up and allow a few Bengals’ touchdowns? Unfortunately, a lot has changed over the last two weeks. Todd Gurley lost a yard on two carries.

All that matters is the road ahead.
