Louis van Gaal challenges players to prove they belong at Man United

United supporters have taken to chanting “attack, attack, attack” in nearly every game and they will need goals on Tuesday with the team second in Group B on eight points, one behind leaders Wolfsburg with PSV Eindhoven, playing CSKA Moscow, on seven.
However, manager Louis Van Gaal says he still expects the goals to come for his side to fire them into the knockout stages.
“At this moment, this is the most important match because it’s very important for the club to continue in the Champions League and the players want to show their qualities at the highest level”. It is a very important match for us and I know how hard it is at Wolfsburg.
The Red Devils travel to Volkswagen Arena as they face the German club in the final group stage fixture. We shall try to win, of course.
“Last year, we did not have the Champions League here so we are determined to get among the best teams in Europe”.
They are still in the top four of the Premier League but there is a sense that all is not well at the club, with the fans unhappy at the style of football they are watching.
