Louisiana, Bobby Jindal leads attack, investigation into Planned Parenthood

Selling human body parts is a federal felony, and trafficking body parts from an aborted baby is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $500,000.

An undercover investigation by the Center for Medical Progress has captured video footage of a top Planned Parenthood official discussing the organization’s business in the sale of organs from aborted babies.

“It is because of stories like this that I signed legislation defunding Planned Parenthood in the state of Texas – to protect human life and the health and safety of Texans”, Perry, a Republican presidential candidate, continued.

“A lot of people are looking for hearts these days”, she told the actors, before saying lungs and livers were also in demand. “These groups have been widely discredited and their claims fall apart on closer examination, just as they do in this case”. “So, if you do it starting from the breech presentation [feet first]…often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium [the head] at the end”.

“The buying and selling of baby body parts is indefensible and the straw that will break the camel’s back” she said in a statement.

“Planned Parenthood’s barbaric practices reveal their contempt for rule of law and human life”, said Live Action President Lila Rose.

In the video, which was made public July 14, Deborah Nucatola, the senior medical director for the Planned Parenthood Federation, describes how the procedure for late-term abortions is altered to preserve vital organs.

She says that doctors “huddle at the beginning of the day” to discuss which fetal body parts are needed by customers. Planned Parenthood has been getting away with being little more than an abortion front while pretending that it offers an array of options to those who wander through its doors.

“A well-funded group established for the goal of damaging Planned Parenthood’s mission and services has promoted a heavily-edited, secretly recorded videotape that falsely portrays Planned Parenthood’s participation in tissue donation programs that support lifesaving scientific research”, the statement reads in part.

“The federal abortion ban is a law, and laws are up to interpretation”, she said.

“This is an eye-opening, stomach-churning moment”, she concluded. She has been employed by Planned Parenthood for more than a decade.

Actually, Planned Parenthood health professionals, educators and counselors always and unfailingly stress abstinence to young people as the only sure way to avoid sexually transmitted infections (STI’s) and unwanted pregnancy. Taxpayer funding accounts for 41% of Planned Parenthood’s overall revenue.

“Thirty to one hundred dollars; that’s the price Planned Parenthood appears to be profiting per dead baby”.

During a conference call Tuesday, Operation Rescue’s Troy Newman explained that Planned Parenthood uses ultrasounds “the same way a butcher uses a scale”.
