The youngster has a freakish fascination with Morris Bart, a personal injury and vehicle accident lawyer whose face adorns TV adverts across the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas. “He didn’t care. He just wanted to watch the Bart commercial”.

Mrs Dobra told the newspaper that her son has been obsessed with Bart – whose’s company motto is ‘One Call, That’s All!’ – ever since he first saw a Morris Bart & Associates commercial on TV.

As I can personally attest, having grown up in Baton Rouge, it’s impossible to watch television in the mid-afternoon or anytime after midnight without being regularly reassured that Morris Bart “is on your side”, so it’s a little jarring to learn that this is the first Morris Bart-themed children’s birthday party – or at least, the first of which Bart’s office is aware. You couldn’t do anything with him.

Maybe it’s the firm’s “One call, that’s all” catchphrase that’s so captivating?

Grayson Dobra, who is two, did not choose The Avengers or Disney or Spider-Man or any kind of typical theme for his birthday party.

Grayson’s parents stacked the party with a life-sized cardboard cutout of the personal injury lawyer and a Morris Bart cake.

. They were not his first words, but they were a close second and third.

“They were so nice about the whole process”, Dobra said. “He likes to give Morris Bart a kiss goodnight sometimes”. “They even sent him an autographed photo from Mr. Bart, a few key chains with his slogan”.

The only question that remains is whether L’erin and Ionel Dobra will have to come up with a different theme when their only child turns 3. To borrow wisdom from Jack Donaghy, in 20 years we’ll all be working for Grayson… or dead by his hand.

Bart admitted to being “flattered” by the tribute, but, in a display of professionalism, added: “He might be a future lawyer…that could be a future competitor of mine many years down the road”.

When Morris Bart himself read about the birthday party, he was delighted.
