Lovato, Gomez share ‘same old love’

But whoever she’s singing about, this song is on point. Aside from her new track, Gomez also posted images presumably from her album photoshoot. The chorus includes different versions of the line, “I’m so sick of that same old love”.

Admittedly though, Gomez confessed in an interview that some of the songs really was inspired by her past relationship.

“I don’t think it was fair”, Gomez said of being an unsupportive friend to Lovato.

There is a month to go until Revival hits the shelves so this star better hope she does not have to ditch an article of clothing every time she plugs the new CD – as she has left little to the imagination already. “I’m just trying to let that heal up”.

The on-again, off-again romance continued for years, but the duo officially ended their relationship in 2014. Former BFFs Gomez and Demi Lovato were seen together once again. Demi took to Instagram on Thursday, September 10 to share a photo of her and Selena making silly face together to the camera.

Thankfully, they have both seemed to realize that with so much shared history, their friendship is worth working on. At one point, Demi even unfollowed Selena on Twitter (so you know it was serious),telling Andy Cohen that it was “one of those things where people change and people grow apart”.
