Love is in air for Drake, RiRi post MTV VMAs

The Video Vanguard Award pays tribute to a musician’s decade-long impact on music, pop culture, fashion, film and philanthropy.

In another ode to the Olympic Games just past, Michael Phelps said he’s been inspired by hip-hop music before introducing Future, who Phelps said he listened to before swimming and making the grimace that went viral. Puff Daddy, who presented the award, said Drake was stuck in traffic.

Further embellishing this picture of women running pop music, Nicki Minaj and Arianna Grande literally forced two men to get on their knees and perform above-the-clothes cunnilingus.

The performance started off with Grande sitting on a stationary, work-out bike, while singing, which made her voice sound jumpy and out-of-breath.

Adele was behind Beyonce with eight nominations, but the British singer did not attend the show.

Looks like the air was filled with love after Drake declared his love for Rihanna on MTV VMA awards stage.

While Calvin Harris won the best male video award for his collaboration with Rihanna on “This Is What You Came For”, his acceptance speech centered entirely on Rihanna’s greatness.

Rihanna was spotted out in Manhattan on her way to Nobu wearing a belted white mini-dress and strappy brown heels. The girl group also won song of the summer for “All In My Head (Flex)”.

“Work” had two videos-both by Toronto’s Director X-but the infinitely better version was shot at T.O’s legendary Real Jerk restaurant.
