Love says it’s amusing to consider Cavaliers underdogs

Overall, the NBA Finals is a breeding ground for low-scoring basketball. Draymond Green and Kevin Durant are strong rebounders for their position but are nonetheless undersized, and neither the big bones of Zaza Pachulia nor the pogo-stick-with-a-rattail athleticism of JaVale McGee effectively translate into sustainable performance on the boards.

The Finals championship is between one Eastern and one Western Conference team.

The Warriors have played extremely well with both Zaza Pachulia and Javale McGee on the floor as they’ve swept their way through the West.

Love complimented Green’s competitiveness and aimed a verbal volley at Northern California. “We’re just embracing that”. We didn’t talk about championships or anything.

LeBron has been so great and consistent throughout his career, that if he has a bad game, we make conspiracy theories to explain it away.

“This is the honest truth, and I’m probably going to get in trouble for this, I don’t think there’s anything you can do to try and compare a team to our team because we have LeBron and Kyrie”, said Cavs veteran forward Channing Frye.

Can LeBron and the Cavs do it again?

The Celtics lost that game by 44 points to fall behind 2-0 in the best-of-seven series, then announced the next day that Thomas was done for the season.

Stephen Curry did a pretty good job of addressing why that’s disrespectful to the work that the Warriors and Cavs have put in to just be great.
