Lupita Nyong’o’s October Vogue Photos Released and They are Stunning
The October 2015 issue goes on stands on Tuesday. Deemed “La Femme” by Vogue, the 12 Years a Slave star trades in her signature effervescence for a look that is far more demure-dare we say sexy?
For the time being, Lupita is content with her low-key life in Brooklyn.
Beyonce appeared in September, followed by Lupita Nyong’o in the latest (October) issue.
The cover girl looked stunning in her golden metallic Valentino Haute Couture dress with geometric cutouts.
For Vogue’s popular “73 Questions” series, the actress called 1980’s “The Empire Strikes Back” – the first sequel of the “Star Wars” series – her favorite movie in the franchise. Nyong’o agreed, revealing how she has the soul of an 80-year-old woman.
“Presentation is extremely important in Kenya“, said the Mexican-born beauty. “You dress formally. You can’t just wear flip-flops”, she told Vogue.
“My mother always had her own style”, Nyong’o continued. She wore A-line, tea-length flowery dresses, very well fitting.
Another topic Lupita addressed was whether she had a preference for Africa or America: “I definitely feel there’s a lot of America in me”, she told Sykes.
“When I was that age I would have liked someone to talk to me”, she said. Next up for Nyong’o is co-starring in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, out December 18. He, too, added that Lupita was someone she doesn’t know a thing about but he “enormously fond of”.
