MA cops want Black Lives Matter sign taken down

An attorney who refused to remove her “Black Lives Matter” pin during court proceedings suddenly found herself on the wrong side of the law after a judge sent her to jail for contempt of court.

The police union’s request comes after several protests nationwide held in response to the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, two black men who were fatally shot by police in separate incidents in July. That’s why these marches are using the term Black Lives Matter, because White America would be outraged if they saw a video of this happening to a White person.

“When I hear the hashtag or see the banner ‘Black Lives Matter, ‘ it just brings to my mind personally that we have to be inclusive”, Fallon said to reporters.

In a statement yesterday, Curtatone praised the department for its community policing and said a banner at police headquarters honoring slain officers showed the city’s moral support to police, but said “Black Lives Matter” will stay over the entrance to City Hall.

Although their march had to be cut short due to the pounding sun, almost 50 people braved the heat to participate in a Black Lives Matter protest Saturday evening in Park Central Square. The veteran comedian has been accused by more than 50 women of sexual assault, but denies all allegations.

“No one wearing an American flag button, no one wearing a crucifix or a Star of David would be removed, so why this particular statement bothered him so much is bothersome”, she said. “All you remember is the 56 woman and all that kind of shit”. Stating that he believed that the comedian is innocent, he said: “He did so many positive things leading up to one thing, which he was convicted of being innocent for, by the way”.

When asked if the group had any specific concerns about the Bangor Police Department Hammill said they do not, adding that the department has been responsive and good to work with.
