MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date and Specs Rumors

The news comes just days after it was revealed that the iPad Air 3, pegged for launch at a special event next March, will not feature 3D Touch.

Despite the October refresh cycle in effect for the iPad Mini, Kuo insists that Apple will deter from the normal release cycle and refresh the iPad Air in H1 2016. The feature also has distinct controls within the app as well, such as Peek and Pop. The analyst believes that 3D Touch supply chain, which is now below 30% utilization, won’t be able to meet the device’s demand. But the technology won’t be ready for next year’s launchings of iPad Air 3 or iPhone 7. However, it is stated that the tablet wouldn’t be having 3D Touch, a popular feature that is seen in latest iPhone models. More importantly, the analyst has detailed that the device won’t be equipped with Apple’s abundantly touted 3D touch technology due to issues which have allegedly arisen with producing a 3D Touch sensor array which spans 9.7-inches. The new iPhone 6c will be featuring 4-inch screen and will be based on the design of iPhone 5S.

The Apple iPad Air lineup wasn’t refreshed this year and instead the launch of Apple iPad Pro was seen.

Apple has always kept mum on product releases until the very last weeks before they are unveiled, so with the swirling of rumors that suggest a variety of release dates and developments, Apple fanboys should not expect the new laptops to release anytime soon.

Apple is doing its best to refresh the 9.7-inch iPad line by next year and it is also important to note that the iPad Pro doesn’t have the 3D Touch capability so this should not discourage interested buyers to get their hands on the upcoming iPad Air 3. “3D Touch is one of the most severe production bottlenecks in iPhone 6S supply chain; current inventory higher than other general components”.
