Madden 17 to include commentary on Colin Kaepernick National Anthem protest
Players discover a glitch in Madden NFL 17 that causes missed field goals caught by the other team to be considered a touchdown, and one that makes passing impossible.
“Madden NFL 17” is being praised as one of the best games in the recent history of the acclaimed series, but it’s not without its problems. In the clip, the Titans kicker misses a field goal, and the ball is caught by Vikings returner Cordarrelle Patterson in the endzone.
The bug, which is coming up in several YouTube videos and forum threads, makes it impossible to run play-action pass plays. This glitch lacks the goofy commentary or absurdity from the other one, so players may find it more frustrating than amusing. Compared to the first one, the commentaries on this particular glitch is not as insane as it is.
As we approach the NFL season’s Week 1 kickoff, video gamers and NFL fans will be blessed with the new Madden NFL 17 edition. According to GameSpot, Kaepernick’s decision is going to be included in that mix. The latter’s glitch was like a ghost interception and returning the ball with a touchdown. Madden NFL 16 has also been on the same situation before with its ‘ghost intercept’ glitch.
EA Sports said that with Madden 17, the goal was to create a more ideal sports simulation game and be more than just a roster update. Week 1 of the National Football League regular season is still more than a week away, with the first game starting on September 8. Here are a few of the wildest glitches players have spotted so far.
Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis, who are the game’s announcers, are expected to record new lines throughout the season that will be uploaded into the game to keep it current.
“Madden NFL 17” was released by EA Sports just last week, and the Xbox One S dropped at around the same time as well.
