Made by Google Event Kicks Off at 11AM Eastern!
Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have probably suffered more leaks, speculations and rumours than any other device out there.
The event is taking place in NY, instead of San Francisco.
The new Pixel-branded phones will anchor the event in NY. Thankfully, come Tuesday, the Pixel 3 leaks will stop, as the phones will become official. Plus, the Pixel 3 family is expected to have an Active Edge feature that was sported on the Pixel 2 models a year ago. Now, a leak from Verizon suggests the Pixel 3 will cost just as much as this year’s cheapest new iPhone. Although the Geekbench entry specifies Android 9 “Pie” as the operating system, it has been stated that the tablet will utilize Chrome OS, whilst also being capable of installing and running Android apps.
There’s still the question of how a retailer managed to start selling the Pixel 3 so early. We were the first to bring our readers exclusive images of the sleek tablet that packs a capacitive stylus, stereo speakers, detachable keyboard accessory, and a USB Type-C port. Let’s look at the specifications, features, and possible prices of this premium Google Pixel Series devices before they are officially announced a few hours from now. Additionally, this model had 4GB of RAM, though Engadget predicts that there will be a variant with 6GB of RAM. The design appears to be similar to the Fabric Cases sold by Google for the Pixel 2 line, with similar cut outs for camera and fingerprint sensor. Sadly, while the peers are going for dual and triple cameras, Google is sticking to its single camera setup, possibly a 12.2-megapixel unit. Even the HDR+ feature helps photos to have a good dynamic range, and some of the credits can be given to the dedicated Pixel Visual Core.
Last October, Google unveiled the Pixel 2, Google Home Mini, Google Clips and a few other goodies. Are any of you looking forward to the next batch of Google Pixel devices?
Rumours are rife that a Pixel 3 and larger Pixel 3 XL are inbound.
Instead of a metallic keyboard, this year there will be a keyboard cover like the one for the iPads. It is a wireless charger that props the Pixel up so you can see the screen. Another new device that is now expected to get unveiled tomorrow is the Google Pixel Slate.
Pixel 3 XL will be slightly bigger than Pixel 3 with a resolution of 2960×1440 and comes in at 6.7-inches. The new Pixel Slate will be available in four flavors, with Intel Celeron, m3, i5, and i7 processor options.
Which of you will follow the live streaming of the Google event? This was spotted through an image leaked by YouTube vlogger Jon Prosser, that holds details of the upcoming Google launches. It is said to offer Bluetooth support and enhanced 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity.
