Madonna Performs David Bowie Tribute at Concert
“In Houston‼ Thank you!…David Bowie”. I went to see him in concert at Cobo Arena in Detroit. “He showed me that it was O.K.to be different”.
“The cover was performed last night (January 12) as her “Rebel Heart” tour called at Houston’s Toyota Centre”.
“David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer”.
After finishing the song she fell to the floor with her head in her hands.
Madonna admitted in a tribute on the day Bowie’s death was announced via Twitter that his had been one of the first live music gigs she’d ever attended and it had changed the course of her life. “And he’s the first Rebel Heart that I laid eyes on, so I think we should just get this party started!”

Madonna’s admiration for the late David Bowie is something she’s never been quiet about. He is set to be honored at a concert at Carnegie Hall on March 31 featuring the Roots, Cyndi Lauper and the Mountain Goats. “He was so chic and lovely and elegant”, she wrote.
