Meanwhile, Steven Yeun who played Glenn insightfully points out, “Glenn died in a very Glenn way, still not thinking about himself”. When Daryl lashed out at Abe’s killing, Negan turned around and brutally beat Glenn to everyone’s horror.

Had Negan and Rick’s road trip to nowhere been skipped, we would have been given so much more. Does that mean Daryl will now have to turn against Rick and his friends or risk getting killed if he refuses to do what Negan says? While Rick is gone at Hilltop, Negan stops by Alexandria and Spencer decides to try and take command.
