‘Magic Mike XXL’ star shuts down gay stereotypes during an interview
Despite a massive publicity push from its stars Bomer, Channing Tatum, Adam Rodriguez, Donald Glover and Joe Manganiello, Magic Mike XXL has been a box office disappointment compared to the original Magic Mike in 2012.
Asked whether the gay community was harder to please, Bomer responded: “I don’t know”.
“We go to listen to you guys sing, which is lovely”, the interviewer says. During the interview Osuna began to address questions about the gay community to Bomer. “Are they harder to please?”
“Why would I ever try to boil down an entire community into a yes-or-no question?” he asks in a smouldering, rhetorical fashion. Special shout outs to Taylor Swift at the Grammys and Arnold Schwarzenegger on Facebook, but this morning it’s time to give Matt Bomer a clap for his excellent ability to handle facepalm worthy journos.
“It’s all about a communication and a dialogue between individuals”. Get rid of the shame.
Shared on Reddit over the weekend to much shock and horror, this photo of a Magic Mike XXL poster displayed at a bus stop somewhere in Australia suggests that Aussie folks are too prudish even for a glimpse of man nips.
Bomer revealed during a more comfortable section of the interview that he has not brought his stripping technique home for husband Simon Halls… yet.
