Malala celebrates string of top GCSEs
But the pressures of being a globally-recognised human rights campaigner has not stopped Malala Yousafzai from knuckling down and getting the education she risked her life for.

Malala scored A*s in maths, biology, chemistry, physics, and religious studies, while getting As for history, geography, and English.
Malala Yousafzai survived being shot by the Taliban in Pakistan while she was campaigning for women’s education in October 2012. Although she nearly died, she recovered after being flown for extensive surgery in Birmingham, central England.
GCSEs are taken by school students aged around 14 to 16 in the UK, and they precede A Levels.
Malala’s life is an unparalleled story of an ordinary Pak girl who overcame a number of painful and frightening ordeals with providence and will power.
