Malaysia Huawei Mate 10 pre-orders come with a bunch of freebies

Artificial intelligence offers a Real-Time Object and Scene Recognition, automatically selecting the ideal camera settings for any environment or focus, and instantly translate text, voice, conversations and images into over 50 languages. They’re actually the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, but the company wants to call them that to differentiate the devices from this year’s crop of excellent phones. So unsurprisingly the Mate 10 Pro is slightly bigger, but what might surprise you is that its screen is lower resolution. In addition, it supports HDR10, has a contrast ratio of 70000:1 and a cover 112% of the NTSC colour space for excellent viewing. Under the hood, this new device is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 659 chipset which has 8 cores for better performance. Both phones feature old favourites like Leica cameras and new ones like an updated processor chip with in-built artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The Huawei Mate 10 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage while the Mate 10 Pro has a larger 6GB of RAM and double the Internal Storage of 128GB. While the Pro offered IP67 water resistance and IR blaster, the Mate 10 retains the microSD card slot and the 3.5mm headphone jack. Finally, the operating system.

In terms of RAM, the Mate 10 comes short with only 4 GB.

However, Mate 10 Lite is still not horribly stripped-down – there’s still a dual camera setup, actually two.
