Malaysia orders N Korea ambassador to leave
Malaysia “is in close contact” with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to investigate the recent incident, the ministry said, adding the country “does not produce, stockpile, import, export or use” such prohibited toxic chemicals as VX.
“Malaysia has fully cooperated with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and has complied entirely with all its obligations”, the statement said.
A suspect in the murder of the North Korean leader’s estranged half-brother, Kim Jong-nam, has said he was a victim of a conspiracy by Malaysia aimed at damaging North Korea’s honour.
Almost three weeks after the killing, Malaysia has condemned the use of the powerful VX nerve agent in the attack. Malaysian Attorney General Mohamed Apandi Ali announced that there was “not sufficient evidence to indict him”.

The two main suspects in the case, Siti Aisyah, 25, of Indonesia and Doan Thi Huong, 28, of Vietnam were charged with murder on Wednesday.
An arrest warrant was issued on Friday for the 37-year old airline worker, Kim Uk Il.
In his first statement on the killing on February 20, Kang Chol accused Malaysia of “defamation”, arguing that local authorities were working with “hostile forces against the DPRK”.
A North Korean citizen detained in connection with the murder of a fellow countryman on Feb 13, will be handed over to the Immigration Department today for repatriation back home.
According to Nikkei, Malaysians are angry at Kim’s murder and North Korea’s insults to Malaysia, including heated demands for the immediate surrender of Kim’s body, and insinuations that Malaysia is acting as a puppet of South Korea and the United States.

North Korea maintains that Kim died of a heart attack, based on the medication found in this body, and not due to VX.
