Malcolm-Jamal Warner Says ‘Cosby Show’ Is Now “Tarnished”
In an interview with the Associated Press, Warner talked about how “The Cosby Show” held up against negative stereotypes that were portrayed against people of color in film and on television.
Cosby has faced growing controversy as an increasing number of women have come forward to accuse him of sexual assault.

“I can’t really speak on any of the allegations because obviously, I was not there”.
After “The Cosby Show” ended in 1992, Warner has had a successful second career as a director and Grammy-winning musician.
Warner said that he has spoken to Cosby since several of the allegations broke in full force, but he wouldn’t reveal what they discussed.
“It’s just a bad situation all around – for [Cosby], for his family, the women, their families, the legacy of the show”, Warner said.
