Malcom Jamal-Warner, best known for his role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, has officially broken his silence concerning the sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby. Now, the actor has come forward, speaking on what he considers his “biggest concern” about the unfortunate events.
Warner, who described the show’s legacy as “tarnished,” said he had been in touch with Cosby since the allegations surfaced but would not provide any details on their conversations.

On Friday, 29 Cosby accusers are set to talk about their allegations on a “Dateline NBC” special.
As fellow entertainers have increasingly denounced Cosby, his “Cosby Show” co-stars have expressed a range of more muted responses.
“You can’t take back the impact that it’s had on generations of kids, and it’s continuing to have such a positive impact on them”, she said. I don’t know why or who’s doing it, but it’s the legacy.

“I think the things that we discussed really have to stay private between us”, he tells The Associated Press. Cosby, whose attorneys maintain their client is innocent, has never been charged of any crime related to the reported encounters, although he settled one civil suit with Andrea Constand in 2006. “But it’s just a bad situation all around – for him, for his family, the women, their families, the legacy of the show”, said Warner during an interview Thursday.
