Man Arrested After Body Of Man Found At House In Co. Kildare

Gardaí continued to question a man last night as part of a murder investigation following the death of a 37-year-old father in north Kildare. Gardai at the scene on Willowbrook Park, Celbridge Co.
Noel Winterlitch was found with head injuries at a house in Willowbrook Park last night, but Gardai say he may have sustained the injuries on Monday.
A file will now be prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A second man, aged in his 20s, was arrested at the property in Willowbrook Park, Celbridge, Co Kildare after gardai were alerted last night.
The man was pronounced dead just before 10.30pm and his body remains at the scene this morning for an examination. Mr Winterlich was thought to have been recovering from a long drug addiction and had up to 60 convictions.
They are treating the death as suspicious.
