Man Arrested & Charged In The Disappearance Of Rosie O’ Donnell’s Daughter
Consultation with Assistant Prosecutor Hillary Bryce resulted in the above charges being signed by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit.
Chelsea was found unharmed in the attic of Sheerer’s home with her dog, Bear, on Tuesday when officer Nicholas Dapuzzo of the Barnegat P.D. was investigating homes on the man’s street.
Micoley said that while she might have been a law-breaking drug-user at the time, she “surely didn’t deserve to have my baby stolen from” her. Her mother reported that she was missing earlier in the day. The UK’s Daily Mail reported that the Chelsea met Sheerer on Tinder. News just recently confirmed that 17-year old was found at the home of Steven Sheerer. Digital equipment including a computer were taken by police as part of the investigation, said the statement. Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato says that Rosie gave his office permission to check her daughter’s cellphone, and investigators discovered “evidence of inappropriate communications over the last several weeks between Sheerer and the minor”.
Thankfully, by the evening of August 18, Chelsea was located by the police and Rosie’s rep told Us that her daughter was “safe in their custody”. He is now being held on $40,000 bail in Ocean County Jail. Chelsea, who is mentally ill, is also underage, and apparently Rosie ODonnell is frightened for for her daughter.
While other websites are reporting that Sheerer had previous drug charges on his record, Gossip Cop reports that “he was previously charged with child endangerment in 2012, as well as heroin possession”.
Police went to a residence, and a person answering the door did not initially reveal that Chelsea was there; but police stayed and Chelsea eventually appeared and left with police without incident, Germain told the AP. They said she was found at the home of a male she was “recently acquainted with”.
