Man arrested in death of 7-year-old Kentucky girl

As police search for a 7-year-old girl’s killer, her family and community are searching for answers.

Police said Timothy Madden, 38, of Scottsville, has been arrested.

Second grader Gabbi Doolin was found dead after she disappeared from a little league football game held at Allen County High School. No further information was immediately released.

Services for Gabriella “Gabbi” Doolin begin at 1 p.m.at Goad Funeral Home in Scottsville, in Allen County. The creek where her body was found was just a few hundred yards from the football field.

An autopsy conducted Sunday ruled the girl’s death a homicide.

Kentucky State Police Trooper B.J. Eaton said the Bowling Green post’s entire detective staff is investigating the slaying.

A cause of death has not been released.
