Man arrested in murder-for-hire of Dallas dentist
Now, investigators are looking for the woman suspected of plotting the slaying and paying off the alleged killer.
Police arrested 31-year-old Kristopher Love on a charge of capital murder, Dallas police spokesman Max Geron said.
Hatcher was killed last month after she pulled into her apartment’s parking garage and parked her vehicle, according to CBSDFW.

Love, a former felon, was also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. Cortes was arrested two days after the murder and reportedly claimed Delgado used an iPhone to track the location of Hatcher’s phone prior to the crime. Police believe her boyfriend’s ex schemed to have Hatcher killed.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Brenda Delgado, 33, on a capital murder charge, Geron said.
Police have arrested another woman, Crystal Cortes, 23, who is suspected of driving the gunman to the auto park.
Investigators have said Cortes was offered $500 to serve as a getaway driver in what was supposed to be a robbery, but the accomplice shot Hatcher instead.
The attorneys for Love and Cortes could not be immediately reached for comment.
Delgado had been questioned in the case earlier in September but was released by the police. She has not been officially charged and remains a fugitive.
She called “Ricky” her best friend and said that she could not imagine life without him. According to NBC News, Hatcher was dating Delgado’s ex-boyfriend, but police have not identified a motive for the killing.
