Man beaten with crowbar for wearing Trump shirt
The attacker was driving along West Passaic Avenue when he spotted the victim walking and stopped to ask him about the shirt, the victim said. “The (victim) continued to walk away as (the) motorist followed him”.
According to police, the suspect followed the victim into a Friendly’s parking lot and got out of the vehicle before attacking him with a crowbar. His attacker followed him into the parking lot to his auto, asked him about the shirt, cursed at him and then hit him repeatedly with the tool on his arms, hands and thighs. He was treated at the scene. Police say the suspect fled before officers arrived.
