Man Charged In Fatal Stabbing At Calgary Medical Clinic

Watch below: One man is dead and two people injured after a stabbing at a busy Calgary medical clinic.

Police believe the attacker and the woman were romantically involved, or had been in the past, he said.

LaGrange says the incident is domestic in nature, but wouldn’t comment on the relationship between the three individuals.

When they arrived, they found Tiejun Huang dead at the scene.

There was no immediate information on a suspect or what the motivation for the attack may have been.

The woman, believed to be in her mid-50s, was taken to Sheldon Chumir with a minor soft-tissue injury, said EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux.

The call came in at about 2:30 p.m Thursday.

Several lanes of a major city street have been blocked off as officers investigate what happened at the Central Landmark Building.

Emma Wong, 54, owns Essential Eyewear on the first floor of the building.

“It was shocking”, she said.

She said she didn’t hear anything when the attack happened and the mall for the most part is usually quiet. “It got worse, considerably louder, so I went out to look”.

Witness Maggie Law works at a facial waxing and makeup business a few doors down from where the incident took place.

Law said about 15 minutes later, she saw the man being brought out in handcuffs.
