Man charged with raping, killing girl due in court
A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 7-year-old girl who disappeared during a high school football game last weekend, Kentucky State Police said on Friday.
Seven-year-old Gariella Doolin, also of Scottsville, was found dead in a creek behind Allen County-Scottsville High School on November 14.
The judge said he’s due back in court December 2 for a preliminary hearing.
Madden is being held on $1 million full cash bond.
Madden wore an orange jail jumpsuit and was bound at the hands and feet.
This item has been corrected to reflect that the child’s name is Gabriella Doolin, not Amy Gabriella Doolin.
Gabriella “Gabby” Doolin got separated from her parents in a crowd at a local football stadium where the family had gone to see Gabby’s 11-year-old brother play.
He’s accused of killing 7-year old Gabbi Doolin. He is charged him with murder, kidnapping, rape and sodomy.
A court appearance for Timothy Madden has been scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Monday.
According to the Associated Press, the arrest warrant for Madden said the child was strangled and drowned.
State police have not said what led them to Madden, only saying it was part of the investigation. I love her with all my heart… please continue to pray for my family…
