Man charged with shooting boy at lemonade stand
By midmorning, officers also responded to Sunset Park on a report of someone discharging a BB gun.
A Freedom man is in jail because police say he shot a 9-year-old boy in the face with a BB gun while the boy was at a lemonade stand Monday.
Police say the man who fired that shot is 18-year-old Evgeniy Tetzlaff.
At 6:00 a.m. Monday morning, officers responded to Kimberly High School for the report of a theft from a vehicle.
Police said Tetzlaff is a suspect in unrelated thefts and other ordinance violations, and police are continuing to investigate.
“You gotta get lemonade, you gotta get cups”, says Jayden. He saw blood everywhere and his son said he’d been shot. The BB hit the side of his face, missing his eye by less than a half inch.
Jayden’s dad, Eric Grant, said he heard the screams and knew something was wrong.
Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call the Fox Valley Metro Police Department at 920-788-7505.
Tuesday afternoon, Jayden was back at his lemonade stand on Arthur Court.
The brothers were selling lemonade just 24-hours since Jayden was shot. He says his favorite part of the job, “making money”.
Jayden may only be nine-years-old, but his advice is wise beyond his years.
The investigation into these incidents is ongoing.
