Man dead after shooting self at Ralph Wilson Stadium
In other words, it is a flawless day for Buffalo Bills football: Adverse weather conditions are a Buffalo specialty and can only help against a team like the Colts, that call a dome stadium home.
Bills fans interviewed Sunday morning in the camper lot said the man was part of a group of people who were dancing to music played by a DJ stationed in his area.
“We strive to give our fans the best in-game experience possible when they attend games here at Ralph Wilson Stadium“, said Vice President of Operations and Guest Experience Andy Major.
The identity of the man, described as middle-aged and from Western New York, is not being released at this time. They tried to revive the man, but were not successful. The local native now lives in Connecticut and saves up for this trip every year. He had gone to bed before the shooting and didn’t learn about it until he woke up. But he was stunned by what had happened the night before.
Orchard Park Police confirmed the death to ABC2 sister station 7 Eyewitness News. They said they did not see or hear any kind of confrontation before the incident.
The Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office has the victim’s remains, and it will be “weeks” before results of toxicology testing are obtained, he said.
