Man filmed ‘keying £100k Aston Martin’ in Hackney

According to the BBC on their investigative piece they posted earlier today (Aug. 17, 2015) an East London man was caught on dash-cam keying a very expensive Aston Martin.

The footage, which was released by the Metropolitan Police, shows a man stopping and looking around before he proceeds to take his keys out and scrape them down the side of the luxury auto.

In the video that runs less than 30 seconds, we see a man pushing his baby in a stroller by an Aston Martin.

Clutching the keys in his left hand, and with a grimace on his face, he drags them down the side of the posh motor – causing a whopping £9,000 worth of damage.

Police were called on Friday, 19 June to reports of criminal damage to the vehicle, which was parked in the auto park of a supermarket, in Morning Lane.

“Moments later, a tall black man approached the vehicle pushing a baby in a pram”.

He gives the child a cuddly toy and then takes a bunch of keys from his pocket.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
