Man found dead after being locked in hospital bathroom
“No one looked in this particular bathroom for five days and then found him five days later, pretty much because we actually went there and made a commotion”, Thomas said.
On Thursday afternoon, Iuso, who cleaned the operating room on the third floor of the hospital, was treated for a finger injury at Montefiore’s ER.
“It wasn’t until we actually went to the hospital and sort of made a commotion to figure out what’s going on; check a few videotapes, is when they actually chose to do something”, Thomas Iuso said.

Concerned: Iuso’s body was only found after members of his family showed up at the hospital on Monday and demanded that they search the building.
Told the father: ‘He would have been in there for another month if we didn’t go there and scream at them, ‘ .
It’s believed that Iuso died of natural causes, but an autopsy is pending.
A spokeswoman says the hospital is saddened by the death of one of its employees.
