Man killed during ‘intelligence-led’ police operation
A man has been shot and four arrested in a police operation prompted by an alleged attempt to break someone out of a police van.
Scaffolder Phil, 53, said: “Neighbours told me what happened was they went in there to do a raid and he did a runner”.
“The four men arrested are at separate London police stations, and we are not prepared to provide any further information as to where. Suddenly there police on the balconies above”.
The Met said: “During the operation in Bracknell Close a man was shot, and has subsequently died”.
“Police were on balconies above, they had obviously been watching him”.
“Two of the men were arrested in the area of Bracknell Close, Wood Green”. Obviously he had a gun otherwise police wouldn’t have shot him.
