Man murders parents in Sonoma County, is on the loose
At around 9.30am Monday, David Wilson’s brother stopped by the couple’s home at 1220 Sexton Road near Sebastopol and found the husband and wife lying on the floor covered in blood.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Wilson was last seen wearing green trousers and an unknown colored shirt and is likely driving a black 2006 Toyota 4WD truck, California License plate of 8S95610.
The relative also told police that Wilson was also covered in blood when he arrived at the house, Sgt. Cecile Focha, a spokeswoman for the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, told SFGate.com.
Anyone with information about Wilson is asked to call 707-565-2185 or to complete the Silent Witness form on the sheriff’s office’s website.
SCSO deputies responded to the home, along with paramedics, with the California Highway Patrol’s helicopter, “H30”, commencing a search for Wilson from the air.
The truck was found around 4:30 p.m. parked on Tomki Road in the Redwood Valley area.
They both suffered multiple stab wounds from a “sharp object”, which Focha, citing the ongoing investigation, declined to describe in detail. The potential weapon used to commit the crimes was also found inside the residence, according to the SCSO. Law enforcement agencies were notified to be on the lookout. They warn he is strong and has been known to carry a knife.
Ukiah police then saw a man matching Wilson’s description walking down the street near the Mendo Mill and Lumber Company, Focha said.
The victims were identified as Wilson’s parents, David and Adrienne Wilson.
Deputies went to the homes of Wilson’s other family members and friends, as well as other places Wilson was known to frequent, but he has not been found. He was being held on no-bail until the SCSO extradited Wilson back to Sonoma County where he has been booked into the county jail on no-bail, according to Focha.
