Man rescues baby niece trapped in vehicle that fell over 100-ft cliff
A man was driving behind his sister when he saw her auto drive off a 100-foot cliff in Alabama.
Tyler Blake Kimbrell, from USA, was driving behind his sister, Destiny, when her vehicle fell from a cliff side road and overturned. By the time he got Breleigh out, firefighters arrived to the scene. Kimbrell says that he and his sister lost most of their things in the wreck, and has set up a GoFundMe page to help out his sister and niece with a target goal of $15,000.
Mr Kimbrell is shown in the footage eventually lifting his crying niece from the wreckage.
Despite the panic in his voice, Blake took control of the situation, telling Destiny to “call 911” while he struggled to free Breleigh.
To turn the light on Tyler believed he needed to be recording, which is how the incredible footage was caught. “My sister, and niece have literally lost nearly everything since the crash”. “I’m just really happy it’s touched so many lives and I can’t wait for this little girl to see [the video] when she gets older”.
Now he is garnering national attention for his actions, including being featured on ABC’s Good Morning America Wednesday, but maintains he isn’t the one who is a hero.
‘She lost all of her, and baby Bree’s, clothes in the crash, as well as her cellphone, and all other personal items that couldn’t be recovered’.
“This is why she hasn’t been in any news interviews, despite popular demand”.
Breleigh’s mother, Destiny, posted her thanks to her brother on Facebook, that neither her nor her baby was hurt.
