Man’s Proposal To His Girlfriend Interrupted By A Robber, So He Does
Not one to stand idly by, Nicholas grabbed the armed robber, Graham Wilson Kiziah, got him in a chokehold, put him out cold and called the police.
A North Carolina man stopped his wedding proposal when he noticed the Mexican restaurant they were in was getting robbed, WCNC reports.
Don’t ever come in between a man and his perfectly planned marriage proposal.
Way to go: Nicholas Anderson (left) with fiancee Deanna Deal (right) and her son Brighton. “He knew how to handle the situation”, said Deanna Deal, his admiring girlfriend (for a few more minutes).
In tackling the roober, his act of heroism was greeted with applause by other diners.
“The manager came to the door and locked the door”. Instead of popping the question the groom-to-be sprung into action.
Witnesses say the man demanded money at the register, so Anderson put him in a choke hold.
Realising that the restaurant was no place to propose, Nicholas and Brighton reverted to a back-up plan, a proposal in a nearby park.
“It happened really quick”, she said. Thankfully (and not surprisingly), she said yes.
According to whky.com Kiziah, 26, was a suspect in two previous robberies at the same Salsarita’s on July 11 and July 12.
