Man shot after road rage incident
Toronto police are investigating a road rage incident that ended with a man falling off the hood of a moving auto that he pursued and jumped on after his vehicle was rear-ended.
One of them was thrown from the vehicle.
Officers responded to the incident at about 11:15 a.m.in the Yonge Street and Briar Hill Avenue area on Monday after several calls from witnesses. Both brothers jumped out of their auto to talk to the other driver.
“The guy was able to hang on for a little while before rolling off and he was taken to hospital with minor injuries”, Kwong added.
Police tracked down the driver and arrested him near Duplex Ave. and Castlefield Ave. He has been charged with assault, risky driving and failure to remain at the scene.
Const. Victor Kwong says the investigation is ongoing and there have been no charges laid yet.
The caller said the victim was shot at the gates of Highland Meadows Apartments.
