Man wanted in deaths of women found at hotels
He is believed to have spent time with each of the women before they were discovered dead, police said.
On July 23, Chrissy Bevelaqua, 25, was found dead inside the Bushwick Hotel at 171 Bushwick Avenue in Brooklyn.
The videos show a man who appears to be Danclair going into hotel rooms with the women, detectives said.
The second victim, a 43-year-old white woman, was found dead inside the Manhattan Broadway Hotel at 273 West 38th Street on the afternoon of September 8, police say. Both women were found naked.
So far, investigators have not linked the deaths but are searching through other cases to see if there is a connection, according to Boyce.
A medical examiner will determine how the women died; their identities weren’t immediately available.
The NYPD said Tuesday that it’s seeking the public’s help in finding 36-year-old Joseph Danclair of Brooklyn. He is described as 5-foot-6 and 170 pounds with a tattoo of two praying hands on his upper right arm and a tattoo of a rose on his upper left arm.
