Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero injured in auto crash
Sergio Aguero, the striker of the world-famous team “Manchester City”, was recently on the verge of death when he was involved in a auto crash in Amsterdam.
The news is a devastating blow to City’s Premier League title hopes after an exhilarating start to the season.
The striker was in Amsterdam at a concert headlined by Columbian singer Maluma.
The former Atletico Madrid forward, who posted a picture of himself with singer Maluma in the back of a auto on Thursday evening before the crash, has seven goals in eight appearances this season.
The Belgian’s return to fitness, and form, is a boon for Conte, whose only gripe after Wednesday’s game was that his team have been left with such a relatively short space of time to prepare for Saturday’s match. “Even though I played really well in the teams I was part of, I’ve never really given thought to what would’ve been if instead of following my music dream, I pursued the soccer dream”. They can enjoy their lives.
“I think his goal scoring is quite remarkable and he is a player that thrives on pressure. If he decides to go there, that’s ok with me”.
Meanwhile, Argentine national team fans are anxious about how long Aguero might be sidelined. Peru stands in fourth place, while Ecuador has fallen to eighth.
He also cast doubt on Aguero travelling to Argentina for World Cup qualifiers next month.
The Spanish manager said he did not know how long Aguero would be sidelined for, and added that he only discovered his striker was in the Netherlands early on Friday.
“Manchester City have definitely improved their squad significantly, particularly in terms of their defence”.
While the time span of his absence is still unconfirmed, Aguero appears certain to miss Manchester City’s all-important trip to Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday. “And when he skidded, we hit the [traffic light] pole”, Aguero reportedly told Radio Metro. “It hurts a lot but I’ll soon be discharged”.
