Manchester United reject Javier Hernandez set for shock move to rivals Chelsea

Since leaving United the Mexican has rediscovered his best form for the German outfit scoring six goals in his last seven appearances, and seems to be a man on a mission to prove Van Gaal he was wrong to discard him at Old Trafford.

Chelsea are being linked with a January move for former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

Chicharito Is on Fire! He now has 11 goals in all competitions this season, scoring for Leverkusen in both the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.

With Chelsea barely sitting outside the relegation zone in 16th spot, there is little denying that they could use the help up front.

Despite a plethora of experience playing for the aforementioned Manchester United, as well as, Real Madrid, Chicharito, is still just 27-years-old and has plenty to offer a team like Chelsea.

Diego Costa has struggled to replicate his 20-goal form of a year ago, and loan star Radamel Falcao has continued to disappoint since joining from Monaco.

In the case of the Spanish-born Brazilian, Costa, Chelsea is considering doing without him since he has only scored twice for the Blues this season.

And, according to the Mirror, the Blues want to bring Hernandez back to the Premier League in January having been impressed with the forward’s 12 goals in 19 games so far this term.

It’s no wonder why Chelsea has their eye on Chicharito who has scored 10 goals for Leverkusen this season, but might want to reconsider the amount they are willing to pay for the Mexican forward. They signed a three-year contract with Hernandez worth about US$10 million.
