Manchester United Transfer: Shocking midfielder development, transfer close
Sunderland are now in negotiations over signing Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj on loan, according to reports on the Daily Star.
They’re described as “productive” and a it’s now up to Louis van Gaal to decide whether to let the player leave.
The Black Cats are also hopeful of securing deals for midfielders Leroy Fer and Yann M’Vila.
Sunderland are keen to take the Belgian to the north east this summer and it has been claimed that they are in discussions with Manchester United over a loan deal for Januzaj.
However, other club are likely to be interested which means Januzaj will have a decision to make about where he wants to play this season.
Fast forward to the summer of 2015, Januzaj has been starved of game time last season and is now out of favour at his parent club.
The 20-year-old burst onto the scene with a brace of goals in his full senior Premier League debut back in October 2013 but the young attacker has struggled to retain a foot-hold in the Man United first-team set-up.
Signing Januzaj would represent a major boost to Sunderland’s attack, which was the second worst in the Premier League last season, albeit the Black Cats have subsequently spent £8million on winger Jeremain Lens.
