Manchester United want James Rodriguez of Real Madrid
Manchester United are in talks to sign Real Madrid star James Rodriguez and are trying to convince the Colombian to move to Manchester, according to reports.
United must move quickly or risk missing out on Mourinho who must also decide on whether to pursue the Real Madrid job – or hang on.
But Real Madrid are determined to get their man and it is believed that not all of the hierarchy at Old Trafford are in favour of Mourinho because of his troublesome reputation and baggage that comes with him.
Upon seeing the new merchandise, Scholes allegedly said: “I’m not sure what that clown is doing”.
Mourinho, axed by Chelsea earlier this month, is being backed by many United fans to replace Louis van Gaal after a woeful run of form.
Mourinho merchandise was on sale at Old Trafford ahead of the game against his former club as speculation mounted over Van Gaal’s future.
Meanwhile, Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes has refused to comment on the rumours surrounding his client, saying: “Mourinho is now in Brazil”.
It remains to be seen how likely the Bernabeu giants will be to let go of a player they shelled out in the region of £63 million just over a year ago.
“Jose has to feel comfortable because he is the No 1 in the world”.
“At the moment, we have not been talking about England, Spain or Italy”.
The Red Devils, despite failing to secure all three points against a struggling Chelsea, produced a strong performance and were extremely unlucky not to find the back of the net on a number of occasions throughout the game.
