Manning, Broncos throttle Rodgers, Packers 29-10

Overall, this was clearly Denver’s best and most complete game of the season, and was really the game all Bronco fans were waiting for.

“Our players are good enough, our scheme is good enough”. Defensively, Green Bay is allowing 18.6 points and 375.7 yards per game. The last time Green Bay’s offense was held to under 150 yards was Week 13 in 2013 at Detroit, when it had 126 in a 40-10 loss, according to STATS. Brady is the best when all is said and done. With the Broncos offense flexing its muscle’s slightly, the Broncos defense has not had all the pressure on their shoulders, but they have still kept Aaron Rodgers and the Packers gang in check. “We didn’t execute in the run game, we didn’t execute in the pass game and we didn’t convert on third down (2 of 8) and that’s why we got beat”. At the end of the half it looked like they might have a chance to get the ball back, but they did not use their timeouts and didn’t get a chance to put points on the board before half, much to the chagrin of Rodgers.

All Manning needed was a few time to get used to things and the Broncos weren’t losing games. “We just thought, with the opportunity to add Vernon, to be able to add him to our roster as a weapon on the offensive side was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up”, said John Elway, Denver Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager. “When there’s a little bit of separation, then you also have to try to throw the guy open”. You have got to do something to change the game and the coaching staff did not do that.
