With Peyton Manning’s status still in question as head coach Gary Kubiak continues to evaluate his rehabilitation, there is no certainty that Brock Osweiler won’t get the start against the Steelers. However, in recent weeks Osweiler and the Denver offense have grown stale, failing to score an offensive touchdown in the past seven quarters.

Denver hasn’t put a ton of emphasis on the run game, focusing on the pass to gain yards and earn points this season. Stating his case as a potential Pro Bowler, the undrafted Fort Valley State product averaged 46 yards on 10 punts, including a long of 55 yards, and five carefully placed boots that settled nicely inside the Broncos’ 20-yard line.
