Manziel finally spotted, shows up for exit meetings

According to ESPN Las Vegas, Manziel was indeed in Vegas this weekend, but wasn’t looking like himself.

Manziel reportedly stayed at the club until 3 a.m., partying with “his crew” at a VIP table close to the DJ booth and in one of the club’s darkest areas.

A message left for Manziel’s agent, Erik Burkhardt, was not immediately returned Monday.

“I think we will expect that of everybody”, Haslam said. “Haven’t talked to him”.

The name’s Billy, Billy Football… actually I don’t have a surname..

Johnny Manziel may be washed up with the Cleveland Browns after the often-trouble quarterback missed a concussion treatment session at the team’s training facility on Sunday and was reportedly gambling in Las Vegas. He said, “They can be in the stadium, but they’re not required”, and “They’re not permitted to be on the sideline”.

Typically, players who have concussions are sensitive to noise, light and are encouraged to rest as they recover. The dual-threat quarterback, who ran for 108 yards in 11 carries and passed for another 136 yards during the loss, did not attend the game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who won the game, 28-12.

But as always, Manziel was a topic of conversation.

Manziel posted a photo to his Instagram on Saturday night, after reports surfaced of his location, in which he and his dog were laying on a rug. He used the hashtag (hash)SaturdayNights.

In mid-October, the Browns were basking in the glory of a victory over the Ravens, their first in Baltimore since the 10-6 season of 2007, but while his teammates were enjoying a day off, Manziel was being pulled over by police in Avon.

The former Heisman Trophy winning star at Texas A&M continues to flame out in the NFL. Offensive lineman Joel Bitonio spoke for many when he said part of the blame for Farmer’s and Pettine’s respective removals fell on the players, too.

“My biggest concern is the guys who were out there today”, Pettine said.

Whether you like him or not, Johnny Football or Johnny Cleveland or…Billy is a Cleveland Brown for now. However, they may have been a good reason for the lack of photographic evidence.

Haslam would not speculate on Manziel’s future with the team, deferring any decision to his next coach and GM.

“We do have the second pick in the draft”, Haslam said. “Ultimately, as the owner you do have say”.
